This position emphasizes both technical expertise and strong communication skills, specifically tailored to a hybrid Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role within an Enterprise Information Management (EIM) - Data Warehouse team. Below are some key points to consider:
Core Responsibilities:
- Documentation: Creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and Mapping Documents for ETL application development.
- Data Analysis: Extensive SQL experience is critical for:
- Writing complex queries across multiple tables.
- Conducting data profiling for mapping and model discussions.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translating them for technical teams.
- Technical Collaboration: Working with data modelers on table designs and ensuring Source-to-Target mappings.
- Testing & Support:
- Supporting testing efforts.
- Conducting production readiness verification and post-deployment accuracy checks.
- Providing weekend/off-hours support as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Technical:
- Expert-level Source-to-Target Mapping and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in health insurance is strongly preferred.
